On Data And Design began its journey in 2018 with our first event organized by Darjan Hil in Vienna, aimed at exploring the intersection of data and design. That same year, we hosted in-person events in Basel and Berlin, quickly establishing a presence across key cities. Within just six months, our network had grown to over 2,000 people from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, all sharing a passion for innovative design.
In 2020, the COVID-19 lockdown prompted a shift to an online format, streaming live on YouTube. This expanded our reach to an international audience and enabled us to feature global experts in data and design.
